The soft caramel which fills these delicious chocolate bites is cooked in our kitchen using a blend of our dairy cream and butter sourced from local cows, British sugar and a pinch of the fabulous local Droitwich Saltworks salt (👀watch here). Each centre is piped while still warm into a sustainably sourced dark chocolate shell and left to cool (👀watch here). Once the caramel has cooled, the chocolate bites are hand-rolled in dark chocolate (👀watch here) and dusted with a sprinkling of gold shimmer powder to make them look as special as they taste (👀watch here).
The final stage is for the chocolates to be lovingly packaged and sent to you.
We are proud that this is a plastic-free product. The clear, Natureflex bag in which the chocolate caramels are protected can be responsibly disposed of in household waste, where, over time, it will degrade without harm to the environment. The card tag and raffia tie can also be recycled or will decompose naturally. You can read more about our packaging here.
