We started Henley Chocolates to craft great products which reflect what we believe in- rooted in the local earth, treading softly on our planet, outward looking into our community and having fun.
It starts with our ingredients. We source as locally as possible and there’s a story behind everything which goes into our truffles, caramels and chocolates. We keep our ingredients lists as short as possible, try to minimise packaging and maximise recycling, and our kitchen is powered by 100% renewable energy.
The passion, thought and care which goes into every stage of crafting your chocolates shines through our products. We endeavour to truly live up to the saying ‘you can’t buy happiness but chocolate works too...’.

Solar panels on the roof of our kitchen and the Garden Furniture Centre, our next door neighbours, generate enough electricity for all of the units at Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village where we are located. |
We love this beautiful planet...
As well as being handcrafted with care, we pay great attention to the materials and manner in which our chocolates are packaged. We know you do too!

The heating for the shop (yes, it does get too cold even for Sally in the winter!) comes from local timber. Austy Wood (renowned for its stunning bluebell displays in May) is a sustainably managed wood owned by Yew Tree Farm. The farm fell timber and re-plant new trees each year as part of their sustainable woodland management program. If you ever visit you will notice large wood stores- the timber is seasoned onsite before being chipped and used to fuel the heating of the entire shopping village. |
