Hand made chocolate bar lovingly crafted by our chocolate fairies in the wilds of Warwickshire. This stem ginger bar is made of dark ginger chocolate studded with piquant pieces of crystallised ginger.

This bar was inspired by my Mum and Grandpa. Both of them are ginger fans and as I grew up I always found myself buying the same ginger chocolate gifts. It was a safe bet but dull. So we've spiced it up to add some real sustainable values and a little bit of handcrafted love coupled with a short, real ingredients list.
To make this bar we first expertly temper a large vat of our sustainably sourced rich signature dark chocolate. This involves melting chocolate couverture to exactly the correct temperature that it pre-crystallises, thus ensuring that ‘melt-in-the-mouth’ smooth texture when eaten. Once tempered the chocolate is infused with essential ginger oil, poured into chocolate bar moulds and decorated by hand with chunks of crystallised stem ginger. The smell in our workshop while we work is amazing! The moulds are cooled in a temperature-controlled unit. The final stage is for the bars are popped out and packaged with care.
We believe in simple, natural flavours derived from real ingredients, with no nasties added. This, along with the care and attention we give to each individual product- from sustainably sourcing ingredients and packaging, to production and boxing up to be shipped- really sets our chocolate apart from the highstreet ‘norm’.
We are proud that this is a plastic-free product. The clear, Natureflex bags in which both the 30 g and 100 g bars are protected can be responsibly disposed of in household waste, where, over time, it will degrade without harm to the environment. The card boxes in which the 100 g bars are presented can be recycled. You can read more about our packaging here.
