Woodland animal chocolate hedgehog bags. This bag is one of two of our delicious chocolate wildlife treat range.
As the UK's only spiny mammal, the hedgehog is declining in the wild at an alarming rate with an estimated population right across the UK of fewer than one million hedgehogs today. Our spiny chocolate friends are made to celebrate their amazing wild counterpart.

Each hedgehog in your prickle is lovingly hand crafted by our little team of chocolate fairies in our rural Warwickshire parlour.
To make your prickle of hedgehogs we first expertly temper a large vat of our sustainably sourced smooth signature chocolate. This involves melting chocolate couverture to exactly the correct temperature that it pre-crystallises, thus ensuring that ‘melt-in-the-mouth’ smooth texture when eaten. Once tempered, the chocolate is poured into the hedgehog moulds and cooled in a temperature-controlled unit. The final stage is for the 'hogs to be popped out and packaged with care.
We believe in simple, natural flavours derived from real ingredients, with no nasties added. This, along with the care and attention we give to each individual product- from sustainably sourcing ingredients and packaging, to production and boxing up to be shipped- really sets our chocolate apart from the highstreet ‘norm’.
We are proud that this is a plastic-free product. The clear, Natureflex bag in which the chocolate hedgehogs are protected can be responsibly disposed of in household waste, where, over time, it will degrade without harm to the environment. The card tag and raffia tie can also be recycled or will decompose naturally. You can read more about our packaging here.
