Vegan friendly dark Raspberry and Rhubarb Secret
Hand crafted dark chocolate truffles, made with no diary ingredients. These chocolates are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans but equally delicious for all those who love dark chocolate, fruity flavours.
Each truffle is filled with a dark chocolate, fruit based ganache made using a blend of our rich signature dark chocolate combined with raspberries and rhubarb puree. The real fruit, sourced from local allotments, imparts flavour to the truffles which is a revelation compared with many commercial brands.
The chocolate centres are piped while still warm into dark chocolate shells and left to cool. Once set it is hand rolled by our chocolate fairies in another coat of crisp, dark chocolate and decorated.
These chocolates are a fabulous alternative with no dairy ingredients (although they may contain traces as both we and our suppliers use dairy ingredients in other products) and as they use oat milk rather than cream they have a lower fat content than traditional chocolate truffles and significantly lower saturated fat. They may contain traces of nuts (and other allergens) which we use in our workshop. The chocolates also contain soy lecithin, a naturally derived ingredient which is used as an emulsifier.
