Who says advent calendars have to be just for children? We all deserve a treat to help us through the run up to Christmas and what better way to get in the festive spirit than to enjoy one of our handcrafted artisan chocolates every day of Advent?

This plastic free chocolate Advent calendar is packed full with our deliciously decadent, bestselling, hand crafted Droitwich salted caramels and will make an extra special early Christmas present for friends or family (if you can bare to part with yours!).

Every part of this calendar can be either eaten or recycled :-)

The soft caramel which fills the delicious chocolate treats found behind each door is cooked in our kitchen. We use a blend of dairy cream and butter sourced from local cows, British sugar and a pinch of the fabulous local Droitwich salt. Each centre is piped while still warm into a sustainably sourced dark chocolate shell and left to cool. Once the caramel has cooled, the chocolate bites are hand-rolled in dark chocolate and dusted with a sprinkling of gold shimmer powder to make them look as special as they taste.

The final stage is for the chocolates to be lovingly individually foil wrapped (to preserve their freshness) and popped inside your Advent calendar. A card tray inside the calendar carefully ensures that a chocolate remains behind each door before opening commences!

We are proud that this is a plastic-free product. After eating, both the aluminum foil and card calendar box can be responsibly disposed of in household recycling, or if you are creatively inspired you can re-use them in art work with the children/grandchildren over the Christmas holidays!
