Low Sugar Fruity Milk Chocolate bars
We are passionate about making chocolate using real food, no added nasties and short ingredients lists. That is why in the past Henley Chocolates has shied away from reduced sugar milk chocolate with artificial sweeteners.
BUT now there is NEW chocolate on the market called Ecl1pse made by Barry Callebaut from their wondrously delicious cocoa beans (which are sourced substainably from the Cocoa Horizons Foundation).
What is so exciting about this milk chocolate is that it contains only 1% added sugar but no nasties or artificial ingredients. It has a very high cocoa content and so eats like a smooth, intense, creamy milk chocolate. These are the first chocolates we have made using Ecl1pse and really welcome your feedback. Each flavour has been achieved by the addition of fruit oil (rather than other flavouring methods, thus we are not adding sugar!)
The workshop smelt wonderful and very fruity while Jennie was busy tempering the chocolate to make these bars.... How will you enjoy yours?
These chocolate bars contain MILK.
All of our chocolates are made in an area where nuts (and other allergens including SOY) are used as an ingredient therefore it is possible that they may contain tiny traces.
(The emulsifier used in the Eclipse chocolate is sunflower lecithin rather than soy lecithin though and so the bars only contain traces of soy).
The bars come to you packaged in our new clear corn starch derived plastic free packaging.
