"Everything is better with a unicorn"
Handmade ruby chocolate Unicorn (100 g) and baby unicorn (40 g) chocolate bars. These chocolate slabs make a great standby for nibbling and the small 40g bars are the perfect tea time treat.
The bar is made with ruby chocolate: the fourth type of chocolate (after milk, dark and white). Ruby chocolate is made from naturally occurring ruby cocoa beans found in Ecuador, Brazil and Ivory Coast which give it its glorious ruby pink colour. This revolutionary new developement by Barry Callebaut was revealed to the world in China 2017 and has excited chocolatiers across the globe.
It is described as 'subtly tart, rich with sweet red berry notes and wonderfully smooth' although no fruit or berries are used to make it.
While artisan chocolate makers have rushed in 2018 to produce exquisite, beautiful ruby chocolate truffles, we decided to be 'one of a (unicorn) kind'. Left to herself in Henley Chocolates' kitchens over the Christmas break of 2018, Sally took to designing and developing this limited edition ruby chocolate unicorn bar.
As with all our bars this one is made by hand. We melt and pre-crystallise the chocolate to make it ready to work with and then pour the tempered ruby lusciousness into moulds, top with a unicorn marshmallow and sprinkle with magic! No two bars are ever exactly the same - the contents will, therefore, vary slightly from that pictured. Every bar is unique!
Once made your chocolates will be packed up ready for shipping by our little team of chocolate fairies. We will carefully wrap your chocolates up and send them by Royal Mail (a journey that is being made already) to minimise the environmental impact of delivery. If you would like some other form of delivery please let us know and we will be happy to accomodate where possible.
Allergen information - this bar contains wheat, soy and milk ingredients. All of our products are made in an area where nuts (and other allergens) are used as an ingredient and so may contain traces. Sadly these bars are not suitable for vegetarians.
As the saying goes...
'Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn.. then always be a unicorn!'
